PENGARUH SENAM KESEGARAN JASMANI
TERHADAP KESEIMBANGAN ANAK PADA USIA 8 – 9 TAHUN.

TUJUAN :
Untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh senam kesegaran jasmani terhadap
keseimbangan anak pada usia 8 – 9 tahun. LATAR
BELAKANG MASALAH : Banyak
cara meningkatkan keseimbangan anak. Secara umum keseimbangan anak dapat
dilatih dengan gerakan – gerakan dasar ketika bermain seperti berdiri dengan
satu kaki, berjalan diatas balok, berjalan dengan egrang. Keseimbangan juga
dapat di tingkatkan dengan senam salah satu jenis senam yang dapat meningkatkan
keseimbangan adalah senam kesegaran jasmani. SUBJEK : Subyek dalam penelitian ini
adalah seluruh siswa dan siswi kelas 2 dan 3 SDN Gubeng 1 Surabaya yang
berjumlah 100 anak yang terdiri dari 58 anak perempuan dan 42 anak laki – laki.
METODOLOGI PENELITIAN : pre and post test with control group. Pengukuran
keseimbangan menggunakan Balance Beam
Test
yang dilakukan di awal dan akhir penelitian. ANALISA : uji analisis dengan menggunakan Wilcoxon. HASIL :
terdapat perbedaan bermakna pada peningkatan keseimbangan sebelum dan sesudah
diberi perlakuan. Didapatkan hasil pada kelompok I nilai rerata sebelum 17,8766
detik dan sesudah 10,9326 detik. Pada kelompok II didapatkan hasil rerata
sebelum 18,6454 detik dan sesudah 17,8028 detik. KESIMPULAN : senam kesegaran jasmani dapat meningkatkan
keseimbangan pada anak usia 8 – 9 tahun.

OBJECTIVE: To determine whether there is influence of physical fitness exercises to balance children at age 8-9 years. BACKGROUND: there is many ways children how to improve children balance. Generaly, the balance of the child can be trained with the basic movements when playing as standing on one leg, walking on beams, walking with stilts, etc. Balance can also be increased with excercises one type of gymnastic exercises that can improve balance is physical fitness exercises. SUBJECTS: The subjects in this study were all male and female students grade 2 and 3 SDN Gubeng 1 Surabaya consisting of 100 children consisted of 58 girls and 42 boys. RESEARCH METHODOLOGY: pre and post test with control group. Balance measurements using the Balance Beam Test is used to measure the balance of children in this research. The test is conducted at the beginning and end of the study. ANALYSIS: analysis using the Wilcoxon test. RESULTS: There were significant differences in the increase of balance before and after the treatment was given. Results obtained in group I the mean values before exercise is 17.8766 seconds and after exercise 10.9326 seconds. In group II the mean results obtained before and after exercise are 18.6454 seconds and 17.8028 seconds. CONCLUSION: physical fitness exercises can improve balance in children aged 8-9 years.
